Office hours are from 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays. Tours are available from 10 am to 5 pm every day.

Touring

Yes, tours can be scheduled online using our Request A Tour function.

The Battery is a community unlike any other and we want to make sure you see and soak up everything during your visit. Because of that, we only offer guided tours with a member of our leasing team.

Tours at The Battery typically last between 25 minutes and 1 hour, depending on your availability and how in-depth you would like your experience to be. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore our beautifully curated amenity spaces, including the fitness center, roof deck, resident lounge, and co-working areas.

You will also tour one or more apartment residences based on your specific needs, preferences, and availability, so you can get a true feel for the layouts and finishes that best match your lifestyle.

Our parking lot is conveniently located directly opposite the building entrance on Palmer Street. You are welcome to park there, and we will validate your parking before you leave.

Lease Terms & Fees

Yes, we offer standard lease terms of 13 to 18 months. However, shorter lease terms may be available depending on availability.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late if paid after the 5th of the month. Payments can be made by accessing your resident portal through the Sentral Life App using bank draft, credit card, or debit card.

Yes, rent can be paid with a credit card through the resident Sentral Life App. Please note that a processing fee may apply.

Your monthly rent does not include any utilities or additional charges. However, all charges will be billed through our resident platform, and your total monthly statement will reflect the full amount due. You will also see a detailed breakdown of each charge. Please note that additional charges vary based on each resident’s individual needs and usage.

Utilities are not included in the base rent. Residents are billed separately through Conservice for water, sewer, gas, electricity, Porter and trash services.

Yes, in addition to base rent, residents may anticipate the following monthly fees:

  • Unassigned Parking – $250/ month per car
  • Conservice Utility Processing Fee – Varies based on usage
  • Pet Rent & Pet Screening Fees – $500 pet deposit, $50/month per pet (If applicable)
  • Technology Fee – Internet – ($50/month) Required

Yes, all residents must maintain renters’ insurance throughout their lease term. You may choose any provider or visit (ePremium Insurance) for easy enrollment.

What additional charges should I anticipate when signing a lease?

  • Application Fee: $50.00
  • Holding Deposit: $1,000 (Will become security deposit)
  • Security Deposit: $1,000 to up to 1 month’s rent

Parking & Storage

Our parking lot is conveniently located directly in front of the building. It is an uncovered lot, available for a monthly rate of $250.

Yes, guests may park in the same lot. However, all guests are responsible for covering their own parking costs.

Yes, our parking lot has a couple of EV charging stations available for residents.

Yes, we have bike storage available at no additional cost.

Yes, we offer storage options, with costs varying depending on the size.

Pets

Yes, here at The Battery, we love pets. They are residents too!

At The Battery, we happily welcome up to two pets per residence, with applicable pet fees and monthly pet rent, and while certain breed restrictions apply, we’re happy to provide full details to ensure a comfortable community for all residents and their pets.

Maintenance & Service Requests

The Battery has a maintenance team on site daily, as well as an on-call team member available for after-hours emergencies.

Residents can submit maintenance requests 24/7 through The Battery Sentral Life App., which we highly encourage.

For any life-threatening or medical emergency, always call 911 immediately.

If you lock yourself out, our 24/7 front desk team members can assist you with accessing your apartment. If you lose your key, we can provide a replacement for an additional cost of $50.

Move-in

We do not offer move-in assistance; however, we are happy to provide recommendations for trusted moving companies.

Utilities are automatically set up on your move-in date and are billed two months in arrears. On the second month after you move in, you will receive a statement through Conservice reflecting your total utility charges. The only service residents are responsible for setting up on their own is renters’ insurance, and proof of coverage must be provided prior to move-in.

We offer 24/7 front desk service, as well as overnight security patrol. Additionally, our building is key fob controlled, meaning access to residential floors requires a valid key fob. All guests must check in at the front desk, and residents are responsible for registering their guests in advance through the Sentral app.

Yes, residents can Earn a $1,000 rent credit if your friend leases a 1-bedroom home, OR a $1,500 rent credit if they lease a 2-bedroom home.

*To be eligible for the rent credit, the referred applicant must sign a new lease for a minimum of 12 months. The referral credit is applied to the account after the referred tenant moves in.

We do not offer guest suites.
